“Welcome” E-mail
Did you receive an e-mail welcoming you to our mailing list?
While creating an e-mail to let readers know about the January/February issue of WALK! Magazine, I inadvertently hit the send button too early.
Sorry about that!

Before I decided the half marathon was my favorite race distance, I walked two full marathons — the Air Force Marathon in 2000 and again in 2002. Once was for a milestone birthday and the other was because a friend talked me […]
I’ve walked 71 half marathons. These are some of my favorites, and most I’ve entered more than once. Whether I add to that number or not, these are the races that meant the most to me. Air Force Marathon (Full & Half) […]

I did receive the blank email. Will we get a “real” email when the new issues are available? I will miss the magazine…had just started subscribing after the New Albany Classic…but will enjoy the electronic version, too.
We have been in the deep freeze here in the Toledo area, so haven’t walked outside much. Partipicipated in the Jingle Bell Run and came in 2nd place in my age category! This was only my second race (New Albany being first) and hope to enter more in 2009. I love to walk outside…I find the treadmill is now too boring! Is it spring yet?!?!
Hi JoAnne,
You should have received an e-mail about 9 p.m. tonight telling you how to access the last issue.
Thanks for the encouragement! I wish things would have gone a little differently.
Still you never know when we might be able to come back!
Though it is cold down here, it is nothing compared to being up north! I lived in Toledo and just across the border in Michigan, and the weather down here is mild in comparison. But I agree, I can’t do treadmills.
