Holiday Gift Guide 2025

WALK Magazine’s first holiday gift guide—written 19 years ago—is like a time capsule in a way. Many of the items on there are obsolete now. From the heart rate monitor that was worn on the thumb to a portable satellite radio, nearly everything is outdated.

This year I’m doing something different. Everything here is from Etsy—one of my favorite places to shop online. I go there a lot, and most of what I found can meet a holiday deadline (if you hurry). So, here are some things I wouldn’t mind getting for Christmas: a few shirts, mugs, and odds and ends that are fun.
