2016 was the inaugural Bountiful Gifts Half Marathon in Massillon, Ohio. This walker-only race also featured a 5K and 10K.

While in Utah for work, I was able to stay long enough to enter the Haunted Halloween Half in Provo.
The Mio Fuse heart rate monitor was a useful heart rate monitor for training to speed walk a 5K.
There were five of us entered in today’s Memorial Day 5 Miler. For several years, this race has been a tradition.
If you like to do races just for the fun of it, you will enjoy this one. However, if you do not want to be treated like a second-class citizen, this is not the race for you.
There were tons of people lining the street cheering at the start and for the first mile or so! It was great!
If you need a small local race in October, and want to race with just women, this race would be OK.
The Emerald City Half Marathon — August 24 in Dublin, OH — was a good race!
The temperatures were a little bit warm at the start. The funny thing is, if this had been a normal August, it would have felt cooler than typical. However, since we had a very mild August, we didn’t have the chance to acclimate and it felt much warmer than it was.
